Did you know where the word “smoothie” came from, and from which country did this drink come to us?
Many will be surprised, but we must thank for it the hippie movement, popular in the USA in the 60s of the 20th century. It was they who gave their fruit drinks such a name.
Stefan Kunau then picked it up, founding a company called “Smoothie King”, which specialized in the sale of fruit and berry cocktails.
Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie:
- Strawberries fresh or frozen – 100 g
- Fresh pineapple – 100 g
- Milk – 400 ml
Blackberry Smoothie with Yogurt:
- Blackberries fresh or frozen – 200 g
- Natural yogurt – 200 g
- Fresh mint – 4 leaves
I offer you 2 smoothie recipes that anyone will like, regardless of age and gender.
- Place all ingredients in a blender bowl.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and drink chilled.
P.S. For both smoothies, the recipe is the same and, as you can see, extremely simple.
In our time, a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition have become so popular that smoothies are part of our everyday life. We cook them for breakfast, treat the children during an afternoon snack, take them with us on a bike ride.
