A magic candle, if it is not made by hand, can be of several types.
The first type is the most common – these are church candles. They are indeed the most commonly used. Not always, however, paying due attention to one of the first rules.
Reprogramming. Yes, church candles (it doesn’t matter which denomination provided them to you) initially carry the power that belongs to a certain egregor.
Like “prayed” places, candles made with a program that works to perform a certain deed, a priori, carry the power, which can be used for the benefit of one’s personal deed.
How candles are reprogrammed:
I suggest using a method that I have used myself, which is suitable for working with a candle, prepared for any kind of magic that works with the elements (done on a new moon).
So, we take a church candle.
Step 1: Water. Wax does not tolerate water well, more precisely, it does not interact positively with water at all. Therefore, we sprinkle water on the four cardinal directions (starting from the east) around the candle. This is where the first intent is set. Symbolically, you communicate your intention to make this candle your working tool.
Step 2: Air. I do not recommend using aromas when reprogramming, but it is quite simple to indicate your participation in the process – to make a candle truly your own – with the help of your own breath. Say your intention (the next purpose of using the candle) as you exhale directly onto the candle.
Step 3: Fire. A lot of fire is not required here (as you understand, wax can melt on contact with fire). Therefore, one should not use direct Fire, but natural. The sun! Direct the candle into direct sunlight when the luminary is at its zenith, and again repeat your intention.
Step 4: Earth. The final element that will help make the candle truly yours. Sprinkle a thin layer of salt on a smooth surface (it can be paper, but not a thin cloth to avoid synthetic impurities). Sprinkle more salt on top of the candle, again repeating your intention to yourself.
After reprogramming, clean the candle of any remaining grains of salt, and wrap in blue, silver, or clear cloth.
Let her lie like this until the full moon in close proximity to you, in a place where you most often spend your home leisure.
